Here is how the Conversation went after Mr Woodsen became Comfortable with the Senior legal Consultant that Mr Woodson was talking on the phone with:
“Approximately 18 months ago my life was on a downward spiral with the IRS,” recalls Mr Woodson. “I was afraid that I would lose everything that I had worked so hard to earn, all due to my neglect. One day as my spirit was heavy with this issue I realized that something had to be done. I picked up a phone book & found an attorney that was around my neighborhood, I made an appointment to see this guy. I was really nervous and ashamed. I walked in, this guy who is a tax practitioner sat me down and asked me if had had brought my check book. I told them no, I was told over the phone that I would be getting a Free Consultation, He smiled and said that the way he’s company work is that i would have to give him a check & that if he took my case, that the check would pay for him to get started.
that made me very very scared. I immediately asked to leave. as I made my way to the exit, he grab my hand & told me to come back in that we would work something out. I walked back with him &sat back across from he’s desk.
I Begin to eplain my situation to him, 15 minutes into it, he cut me off & started talking about he’s fee structure. He did not give me time to explain my full story. He told me that he’s Vonsultation was for 15 minutes, that my fifteen minutes was up. He then became very rude & told me that I was the problem that if i Didn’t write him a check for $5000.00 that I can leave now & that he was reporting me to the IRS. I left that place & went home. For the first time in my 56 years in this Country, I feltf that I was an Enemy of the state. 3 Days later, I got a Call From a gal at The Incline Group. She was very nice. she told me that Incline usa was a full service tax firm with real Tax attorneys, real Enrolled agent, real paralegals & real Legal Tax Consultants that have done Hundred of successful tax cases just like mine. I was exited to here more, She transferred mr to a Senior Tax Consultant who talked to me, Let me know what my legal rights & options were, & told me the fee for Incline’se services we $2,700,00
flat fee that I can break up in 3 payments. I immediately signed up.
“Mr Woodson owed the IRS a total of $59,000,” notes attorney Shawn D Traudt. Inclne along with Our law firm New Century Tax was able to settle that debt for $965 through an Offer in Compromise. Throughout the process Mr Josh Woodson did everything asked of him by our law firm, from making sure all of her income tax returns were filed to providing the necessary financial documents to prepare and support a proposal to the IRS. Once New Century, our Law firm submitted the Offer in Compromise, the IRS responded by erroneously stating that retired debt exceeding $13,000 must be applied to the taxpayer’s offer and they would not settle for less. Attorney Sean Traudt responded by pointing out that the IRS retired debt analysis was flawed. The IRS acknowledged their error, corrected the analysis, and accepted the offer as originally submitted by our law firm.”
“Everyone I spoke with at Incline & at New Century tax was so nice and helpful. But most important of all, they made sure that I understood what the law firm could and could not do for me,” explained Mr. Woodson. “Every time I called, I was greeted by representatives that where equally polite, courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and understanding to my concerns. Every response was timely and clear. In addition, whenever there were questions from the law firm, anytime they received fax information or reasonable arrangements with my payments needed to be made I received a polite, and informative phone call.”
“I will always be forever grateful for the services I’ve received, the excellent manner and attitude of the people at New Century Tax & Incline was able to work out for me with the IRS.”
The debt settlement amount is not typical. Additionally, past successes cannot be an assurance of future successes because each case may be decided on its own merits.
