Experience the Green Festival in Denver

On the first weekend in May, I volunteered at the Denver Convention Center for the very first Denver Green Festival along with my good friend Jason Ryer. It was an unforgettable Experience. I had met Jason & Joel in Boulder back in ‘07. I had been looking for a place to stay in 2007 in the Boulder area to expand our operations. After working for over a year straight building the Incline Brand, I decided to expand our expertise in the tax laws to help build a greener America.
Boulder Colorado is a very progressive Green city. Everything in Boulder is about the environment. Boulder is one of the Greenest places in America. Being from new York, it was a very different experience for me. Joel, who is Jason’s longtime friend and business partner owns a home in South Boulder, a jack of all trades.
When I moved in with them, Joel was renovating the house to be more energy efficient. He was doing all the work himself. I was amazed on how much Joel, a Software & Radar engineer, knew about home renovations. This guy is a cross between Bob Vila & Bill Gates (can you imagine that?).
Everyday, Joel would wake up @ the crack of dawn hammering away. He would be up on the ladder working all day & night. Watching my friend Joel work so hard on his home, inspired me. It reminded me of why I got into the Tax resolution Business. It was to ultimately help the American Dream and building a better tomorrow by constructing a more Energy Efficient Home.
And this brings me back to present time May 5 2009 & my unbelievable experience May 2nd.
Even the Mayor was excited. When was the last time you heard a Politician so exited about any Green other then Greenbacks?…never.
Here’s what he was thinking:
“Having just hosted the greenest national political convention ever, we think Denver is a natural site for the Green Festival in May 2009 and are excited to host this successful event. Denver is proud to be creating safe, healthy, sustainable communities and a strong local economy by raising awareness, sharing best practices and collaborating on greening initiatives. The Green Festival is a terrific place to trade success stories, brainstorm innovative new ideas and learn about the newest technologies and services.”
– Denver Mayor John W. Hickenlooper .
I entered the event not knowing exactly what to expect. Jason, Joel and myself had all volunteered at this event. Jason is a member of the Peace Corps. Jason’s connections got us involved with the volunteered project. We were assigned to help with the recycling Project.. we were deemed The GREEN TEAM. I was assigned to a recycling station next to a hub of Renewable Energy Companies. As I made my way around the Green Festival, I hob-knobbed, and introduced myself to the owners and representatives of these companies who make & install Solar Panels & windmills.
In my conversations with these guys and gals, they were asking me things like; “What kind of tax breaks can I tell my costumers about for turning their homes into Green Homes?”
Being the Taxcut Editor, I always get asked such questions any time I’m out networking. The answer, “A lot.. ” If you are a homeowner who is Earth conscious, if you want to help the environment & make a difference, our Government along with the IRS are going to help you.
If you own a home & owe the IRS back taxes, my staff and I at the Incline Group can teach you how & what you can do to not only eliminate or lower your tax debt but also how & where to get financing to make your home a GREEN home. We can get the Solar Panels and Windmills at no cost to you, the homeowner.
